About MARK PAYTON GLASS CENTER
WELCOME to the newly remolded and improved Mark Payton Glass Center, formally known as Glassworks! We are located in the Glassworks Building in downtown Louisville, KY (right behind the Slugger Museum). We are a locally owned and opperated glass art center. Our Mission is not only to wow you with the beauty of glass, but also to educate you with our many hands on workshops.

SEE

Flameworking and glassblowing first hand on our guided and self guided tours. Monday through Saturday 10-4pm (Guided tours are by reservation or at 11, 1, & 3pm on Saturdays).

CREATE

One of kind works of art in our daily Walk-in Workshop or book an appointment with Mark in the Flame Your Own Program (Pendants, Kisses, Vials, and Much More).

LEARN

Take one of our many intensive classes  offered in Kiln Forming, Flameworking, Beadmaking,  and Much More!

APPRECIATE

Witness the beauty of hand craft glass art in our studio gallery.
The gallery houses functional pieces (bowls, plates, vases, etc.) as well as high end sculptures, an extensive selection of jewelry, marbles, and small figurines.
Many items in the gallery can be seen in the making on the tour.
